Our Pastors

Jamé Bolds

Lead Pastor (Vision & Theology)

Jamé believes church should feel like family first. Sit near him on Sunday and he will find you afterward, he wants your story, not just your name, and he will want to share coffee with you at the Identity Wall.

He leads Victory’s overall strategic vision and is passionate about connecting your faith to everyday life. He even wrote a book about it. When he is not preaching he is traveling nationally as CEO of Pathmakers Foundation, helping ministries build lasting economic sustainability across 19 cities in 12 states.

Jamé thinks about theology and economics at jamebolds.com. He is Tejano, holds graduate degrees in theology and economics, and is completing a Ph.D. at Universiteit van Stellenbosch while serving as a board member and annual lecturer at the Harris Institute at Oxford and Cambridge. Ordained with the Assemblies of God. He takes his theology seriously, rethinks his economics, and himself lightly.

He is a professional coffee buyer. Want some? Text him at (757) 504-0322.

Stuart Ross

Lead Pastor (Church Ministries)

Stu has spent his life caring about people far from God, and you will feel it the moment you meet him. He has been a discipleship pastor, a missionary, and a multisite lead pastor, but people remember him for one thing: he remembers you, your kids, and what you are walking through. That is not a pastoral skill. That is who he is.

He shepherds Victory’s teaching and discipleship, and he would rather sit across the table than lecture from behind one. He helps people see how faith actually changes their marriage, their work, and their inner life.

Stu is ordained with the Assemblies of God, holds an M.Div. from Regent Divinity School and a D.Min. from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. With Pastor Jamé, he is building Discipleship Dynamics because he believes every person deserves a pastor who is paying attention, and every church deserves a plan for actually making disciples, not just counting them.

He will pray with you, cry with you, and show up when it matters. Need some personal prayer? Text Pastor Stuart at (757) 267-9512.

Our Team

Jennifer Bolds

Executive Pastor (Ministries)

Read Bio

Jennifer is the person people call when life falls apart, and somehow she always answers. She’s a marriage and family therapist by education and a musician by heart, and she brings both into everything she does, walking families through their hardest seasons and weaving creativity into the way Victory worships. If you’re struggling, she notices, and she’ll sit with you in it rather than rush you past it.

Beyond Victory, she runs a counseling practice, trains engineers and scientists in emotional intelligence across the northeast, and leads the Jennings Leadership Foundation, teaching nonprofit leaders how to lead with real emotional health. She brings all of that wisdom home to how she cares for our church family.

Ordained with the Assemblies of God, with a B.A. in music from Southeastern University and an M.A. in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell.
